Emergency Nursing
Understanding Emergency Nursing
Emergency nurses treat patients in emergencies involving trauma or injury. They manage care of patients for whom the cause of the problem has yet to be determined. They must be ready to treat myriad illnesses or injuries, ranging from a sore throat to a heart attack, and to communicate with the patient, other medical professionals, and the patient’s family.
