Misericordia University’s ABSN program in Pittsburgh can be completed in as few as 16 months. And with three start dates a year, in January, May, and August, you can be on your way to a career in under two years. This program follows a blended model, offering online-based coursework in addition to hands-on skills and simulations labs and clinical rotations. Over the course of four full- time semesters, graduates of Misericordia’s ABSN program will be prepared for success in their career as a nurse.
ABSN Admissions Requirements
Applicants to Misericordia University’s ABSN program must meet several requirements in order to be eligible for admission. Applicants must either hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree or have completed at least 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited institution. These must be completed with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, and applicants must complete all prerequisite courses within specified grade requirements. Misericordia also looks for students who are self- motivated, compassionate, and ready to help others through a career in nursing.
