Misericordia University, located in northeast Pennsylvania, was founded in 1924 by the Sisters of Mercy and provides a quality education through the core values of mercy, service, justice, and hospitality. Its College of Health Sciences and Education features an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program based in Pittsburgh that allows non-nursing students with prior college credits to transition into the field in as few as 16 months.
